Please read before your next visit - thank you!
Greetings from Loftin Dental!
We hope this email finds you and your family happy & healthy. As you know, our community has been through a lot since mid-March, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our ‘new’ normal. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your oral health and safety.
I KNOW THIS IS LONG, BUT DO PLEASE READ IT ALL THE WAY THROUGH BEFORE YOUR NEXT APPOINTMENT WITH US. IT WILL HELP A LOT.
We are doing our best to schedule those hygiene patients we missed during SIP, but if you haven’t heard from us in a while, please call us as we’re now scheduling into October.
Along with your personal care, infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. We want to assure you that we are following all current infection control procedures to keep you, your family and our team safe. Our office follows recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
We’ve been given the ‘go’ to come back to work from the California Dental Association and CDC, as long as we have ample supplies to keep us all protected. We are expecting shipment of equipment soon and are optimistically looking at re-opening June 1st. Yea! If something dramatically changes, we’ll let you know. For those that had an appointment with us during our closure, we will begin to call you shortly to have you rescheduled.
- Please let us know prior to your visit if you’re not feeling well (i.e. fever, cough, etc).
- If you arrive early, as much as we want to catch up with you, please remain in your car until a couple minutes before your appointment time.
- After your treatment is complete, with Dr. Loftin or your hygienist, they will ask you to put your mask back on before being dismissed to the front team. With physical distancing, you may be asked to wait a couple of minutes either in the operatory or seated in one of the chairs spaced out in the reception area. We’ll do our best to minimize any waits, we know your time is very important.
- In order to reduce contact points between you and our team and give you as much time with your hygienist or Dr. Loftin, we may schedule your next appointment, if needed, or collect your patient portion over the phone. And lastly no hugs and handshakes for now, as much as we do appreciate them from you. ☹
We have always been very proud to provide you our very best care in our office. Which is why we remained closed for the whole duration of Shelter In Place. This allowed us time to get the proper equipment needed, train up our team and update our space to the best of our ability.
I understand this was very long to read through, thank you so much for your attention. We just wanted to express to you all the changes we have made so that you feel even more comfortable and safe coming in to see us.
We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have in the meantime. Our number is 925-672-7997 and our email is firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you SO MUCH for being our patient!
We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming you back in JUNE!
Dr. Loftin and Team
